Teams Offered - General Information
2013 Spring/Winter Season:  Regional, Regional Elite, American, National,

USA Volleyball provides the opportunity for girls who want to increase their
knowledge, understanding, and skills playing the sport of volleyball.

There are 3 levels of USA Volleyball Junior competition in most age groups:

  • Regional are for the developing Athlete
  • Regional Elite for the more developed Athlete(ages 12,13,14,15,16,17,18)
  • American Division for the top Regional Athlete(ages 14,15,16,17)
  • National Team is for he advanced athlete
  • Buckaneers (10U, 11U)
  • Boys 14U, 16U, 18U

At Buckeye Volleyball Club, there are three levels of Junior volleyball
competition in the 10 - 18 age groups.













































      











New Buckaneers teams offered for 10U and 11U.

The Buckaneers will be for 10U and 11U teams.  The cost will be $395 for the
season which runs from March 2012 to the first week of May 2012.  All teams will
practice once per week on Friday's and play in 3 OVR tournaments including the
Ohio Valley Region Championships at the Columbus Convention Center.  The
Buckaneers will offer families an opportunity to experience club volleyball at a
lower commitment and cost.  Players will not have to tryout for the Buckaneers
teams. The Buckaneers teams will take a max of 50 players.  Each team will be
assigned a coach from our Buckeye Staff.  Please send Player Profile, Waiver,
Contract and $100 non-refundable first payment to join the team.  

Important!  Registration for Buckaneers must be by December 1st, 2011

Note:  All 10, 11 and 12 and under teams will be entered in 6 tournaments in
Spring Season.  This does include the OVR Regional Championships in
Columbus, Ohio.

2012 Girls Winter Season-Regional Teams

In 2011 Buckeye Volleyball  Club had twelve (12) teams that participated in a
winter schedule.  The season will run from Mid December to the end of February.
Important:  You cannot play Winter for Buckeye and Spring for another Club in
the Ohio Valley Region.  Once you are a member of a club it is for the entire year.
Age groups will be 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18.
Buckeye Volleyball Club



Regional
  • Participate in seven (7) one day
    tournaments within the Ohio Valley
    Region
  • Participate in the Ohio Valley Region
    Regional Championships
  • Eight Tournaments Total


Regional Elite
  • Structured for the more developed and
    skilled athlete
  • Participate in 8 to 9 tournaments within
    the Ohio Valley Region.  Some of these
    events will be 2 day. Teams will have 11  
    play dates
  • 8 to 9 Tournaments Total
  • 12 Elite will play 8 tournaments and 8 to
    9 play dates.
American
  • Teams will be registered with the OVR
    as American level team
  • For the top Regional players in the Ohio
    Valley Region.  
  • Participate in 8 to 9 Tournaments in the
    Ohio Valley Region.  A number of these
    events will be 2 days.  Teams can play
    12 play dates.
  • 8 to 9 Tournaments Total




National
  • Team is registered with the OVR as
    National level team
  • Structured for the more serious,
    advanced and skilled athlete who makes
    volleyball their #1 priority
  • Participates in National Qualifier
    tournaments (3 day event)
  • Participate in National level tournaments
    within the Ohio Valley Region.  Some of
    these tournaments are two day National
    Challenge tournaments.
  • Participate int he Ohio valley Region
    Regional Championships



Buckaneers (10U, 11U)
  • All Teams will be registered as Regional
    Teams
  • Tryouts not needed for these teams
  • 50 Players Max
  • Participate in 3 Tournaments within the
    Ohio Valley Region
  • 3 local tournaments which includes the
    OVR Regional Championships at the
    Columbus Convention Center

Winter
  • All teams will be registered as Regional
    Teams
  • Participate in 5  tournaments within the
    Ohio Valley Region.
  • 12 team will enter 4 tournaments
